If “Greatest Wide Receiver in Football History” were put to a vote, Jerry Rice would win unanimously. Statistically speaking, one can make the case he was the greatest football player ever. The San Francisco 49ers recognized his talent at Mississippi Valley State, trading up to take him with the 16th pick in the 1985 draft. Over the next 16 years he rewarded the Niner faithful with three Super Bowls. When he finally retired after 20 seasons, Rice held an unfathomable 38 NFL records. He remains the all-time leader in touchdowns (208) and TD catches (197), receptions (1,549), receiving yards (22,895) and yards from scrimmage (23,540).

The 1995 NFL season was perhaps Rice’s finest ever as he posted career highs in both completions (122) and receiving yardage (1,848) to go along with 15 touchdown catches in leading the Niners to an 11-5 regular season record. In the final game of the season, Rice passed Art Monk as the NFL's all-time receptions leader. From that incredible campaign comes his game worn 49ers home jersey photo-matched to a Week 2 matchup against the Atlanta Falcons. In a 41-10 blowout, Rice had 11 catches for 167 yards and 2 TD's from fellow Hall of Fame quarterback Steve Young.

The red Wilson jersey has been tailored to Rice’s specifications with elastic sleeves, and Wilson tagging with size and year typically found on the left front tail has been removed. All letters and numbers come in white tackle twill. Rice’s iconic number “80” is sewn on the front, back and each sleeve. Wilson logo patches adorn each sleeve as well, and the NFL shield logo appears at the front of the V-neck collar. His last name “RICE” is sewn across a red nameplate on the upper back. Rice has autographed the back '0' in 8/10 black marker. The nylon/mesh jersey shows obvious wear with number puckering and heavy fraying throughout. Resolution Photomatching was able to conclusively match it to Getty Image 72568215 based on front mesh hole alignment and loose threads. The shirt was laundered post-use but there are a few contact marks (dirt or paint transfer) on the upper right shoulder that remains visible.

Includes team letter from former 49ers Team President Carmen Policy. LOA from Resolution Photomatching with side-by-side graphics. Full LOA's from PSA/DNA (AE00505) and SGC for the autograph.
