Offered in this lot is a game worn jersey from future Hall of Famer, Carmelo Anthony. During his 2016-17 campaign with the New York Knicks, the all-time great scorer averaged an impressive 16.2 PPG, 5.8 RPG, and 1.3 APG, enough to earn him a spot on the Eastern All-Star team. The jersey is in excellent shape for a game worn piece, showing only light wear. Inscribed on the Adidas NBA Authentic Patch is “16-17”, presumably written by the team’s equipment manager denoting the year the jersey was worn. The jersey also features a Knicks “70th Anniversary” patch on the upper right shoulder to honor the team’s tenure in the league. All stitching is in mint condition showing no signs of fraying. The jersey is a wonderful collectible overall and highlights the classic New York Knicks colors.
