Lew Alcindor had one of the greatest college careers ever. His 1968-69 senior year for the UCLA capped three straight NCAA Championships under legendary coach John Wooden as he led the Bruins to a 29-1 record. In doing so, the unstoppable 7’ 2” center later known as Kareem Abdul-Jabbar took home his third straight National Player of the Year award, averaging 24 points and nearly 15 rebounds per game.

Presented here is the 14-karat gold ring awarded to Alcindor by Look Magazine for being named to the publication’s College All-America team. The shiny, eye-appealing ring features a large purple stone atop textured gold with six raised stars in silver.  The interior band is engraved “LOOK ALL AMERICA BASKETBALL TEAM 1969 LEW ALCINDOR” along with the manufacturer hallmark and “14K” (stamped twice). This ring comes in size 12 and weighs 36 grams. The condition is essentially Mint. Includes LOA from Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
