Mike Trout was selected for the eighth time to the American League All-Star game during the 2019 season. The 27 year old phenom produced 45 home runs, 104 RBI and 11 stolen bases during a season that was shortened by a nagging right foot injury in mid-September. Trout would still go on to win the AL MVP award despite the early exit which exemplifies how far ahead of the curve he was from the rest of the candidates.
Featured in this lot is a pair of Nike 'Force Zoom Trout 6' cleats in the style worn at the 2019 All-Star game. Trouts autograph is in bold 8-9/10 black marker on the toe of the left cleat. The red, white and blue cleats have a patriotic theme. Trout's signature cleats have his "T" brand featured on the tongue in white with a red background. The Nike Swoosh logo is in white with red trim and runs on top of the Velcro straps. These beauties have an MLB authentic holographic sticker affixed to the rear of the autographed cleat (JC 335370)
