With eight career batting titles, Tony Gwynn is unsurpassed in National League history. Save for Ty Cobb and Napoleon Lajoie, Gwynn needed fewer games (2,284) to join the 3,000-hit club than any of the esteemed fraternity's members. Offered here is an autographed bat employed by the San Diego icon during the 1990 season. Gwynn's Louisville Slugger Professional Signature Model C263 gamer is signed on the barrel in perfect 9-10/10 looking black felt tip pen with the added notation "1990". Complete specs including "32.5-31, C263, 19" are all written on the knob in black felt tip pen. "C263 19" is written on the hollowed out top of the barrel also in black felt tip pen. Bat measures 32.5 inches and weighs 30.7 ounces. Flame burned ash bat has a handled crack that has been secured. Bat has outstanding use with a heavy coat of pine tar on the handle and ball marks, ball stitch impressions, and bat rack marks on the barrel.

Full LOA from PSA/DNA (Malta/Taube) with a GU 9 grade. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
