Offered here is a 1932 Jim Bottomley St. Louis Cardinals good luck charm. Bottomley played in St. Louis for eleven seasons as an amazing first basemen, making him a fan favorite. He was the third player to ever win the MVP award for the Cardinals, accomplishing this during his 1928 season. This good luck charm is a unique piece that features an engraving of a dog in the background with the text “JIM BOTTOMLEY”, “ST. LOUIS CARDINALS”, and “1932” on top of it. Also written around the charm’s loop is “PLEASE RETURN TO”, as it could have been attached to some of Bottomley’s personal items. The rear side of the good luck charm is stamped with “GOOD LUCK.” This good luck charm is in good condition when considering its age. Measures approximately 1 ¼” x ¾”.
