Mickey Mantle's 1952 Topps card is one of the true icons of our hobby and is instantly recognized, even by non-collectors. Every enthusiast covets a Topps "rookie" card of Mickey Mantle, and no serious baseball card collection can be considered complete without one. Exhibited here is a bright and colorful example graded VG-EX 4 by PSA. This strong specimen is crease-free with slightly rounded corners and smooth surfaces front and back. The card falls short of EX with its off-centering left to right and its off-white borders. Centering is less of an issue on its clean back. The vibrant blue and yellow colors on the front give this card tremendous eye appeal. A very desirable mid-grade example of The Mick’s most celebrated card.
