The Dallas Cowboys headed into the 1971 season seeking revenge after being humiliated in their defeat during Super Bowl V. This hungry team powered by Roger Staubach and their famous “Doomsday Defense” began their playoff run with 11-3 record and beat the San Francisco 49er’s 14-3 in the NFC Championship. Now, all that stood between them and a Super Bowl victory were the undefeated Miami Dolphins who had defeated the Baltimore Colts in the AFC Championship, 21-0. Despite being the underdogs coming into Sunday’s matchup, the Dallas Cowboys dominated the field and reigned superior in their 24-3 win over the Miami Dolphins.

Offered here is a beautiful 1972 Super Bowl VI Lafayette Watch presented to a member of the Dallas Cowboys’ World Champions. The watch features an alligator skin style brown leather band and gold colored face to create a timepiece truly fit for a champion. The red, white and blue NFL logo provides a colorful backdrop of the watch face and there is a football player carrying a ball that runs clockwise around the face to indicate the seconds hand. The Swiss made watch by Lafayette Watch Co. is stamped on the reverse with this info along with  "SUPER BOWL IV" and "Base Metal." Watch works fine when wound. Comes in its white plastic presentation case lined with velvet.
