2017-18 JOEL EMBIID 76ERS GAME WORN ADIDAS 'THE PROCESS' SIGNATURE MODEL SHOES

Featured here is a pair of Joel Embiid's game worn shoes from the 2017-18 season. The 7-foot center from Cameroon has taken the league by storm since being drafted #3 overall by the 76ers in 2014. After losing two years due to injuries, the likeable, smack-talking character has convinced everyone to "trust the process." In his sophomore NBA campaign during which he wore these offered sneakers, Embiid put up 23 points, 11 rebounds, three assists and two blocks per game for Philadelphia in leading them to the second round of the playoffs. After increasing is productivity immensely last season (27.5 ppg, 13.6 reb, 3.7 ast. -- all career-highs), the big man seems poised to take the Sixers deeper into the Eastern Conference playoffs and bring the City of Brotherly Love its first NBA title since 1984.

The massive blue and black Adidas shoes appear to come in Embiid's size 17, but there is no size tag indicated on the interior. The lace holder on the tongue is emblazoned with "Joel Embiid 21 The Process" and the trademark Adidas logo is in red on the outer ankles. The left shoe has "Arthur Embiid" stamped in the inner right side in honor of Joel's brother who died in 2014; the inner tongue has a star design. The right shoe is stamped "THE PROCESS" in red on the inner left side with a red bell-looking object on inner tongue. "DEV SAMPLE NOT FOR RESALE" is stamped in white inside both shoes, more worn off on the left one. The shoes have blue laces and an inner strap attached to the tongues designed to keep the foot stabilized. The original insoles have been removed. Both sneakers exhibit solid game use inside and out, with internal sock sweating, light exterior scuffing and evident heel drag. Embiid wore this style for almost the entire second half of the 2017-18 season after the All-Star break as game images indicate.
