In 2012, Fatima Maddox, nicknamed “TNT,” became the first female basketball player since 1993 to wear the legendary red, white and blue uniform of the Harlem Globetrotters. A terrific ball handler measuring in at just 5’ 6” tall, Maddox has had no trouble fitting in with the mostly male team that started doing their beloved basketball exhibitions as far back as 1926. This is Maddox’s autographed and game-worn Globetrotters’ jersey that she wore during her debut season with the team. The native of Colorado Springs, Colorado, has autographed the jersey, which includes her nickname “TNT” in gold lettering on the back, in black Sharpie: “Fatima TNT Maddox 18.” Originally part of the Newport Sports Museum Collection. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA (auto.).
