The 2016 San Francisco Giants snuck into the playoffs by earning a wild card spot, just one game ahead of the St. Louis Cardinals. The Giants final victory came against their long-time, bitter rival, Los Angeles Dodgers on October 2, 2016. The Giants caught the Dodgers sleeping and came away with a 7-1 win at home giving them the security of a post season chance. Hunter Pence batted 1/5 and knocked in an RBI during the season finale. The Giants would go on to advance to the NLDS where they would eventually come up short against the Cubs.
Presented here is a Hunter Pence game used San Francisco Giants home white jersey. The jersey includes the San Francisco Giants Baseball Club patch on the left sleeve and the commemorative “Monte 20” and “Davvy 12” patches on the right. There are signs of use with some pelting and some evidence of the jersey having gone through the wash. The size 48 jersey has the appropriate tagging and includes a MLB Authentic hologram affixed to the Majestic embossed label on the bottom left (HZ431740).
