The 2014 World Series Champion San Francisco Giants celebrated their accomplishment by presenting the players with their rings on April 18, 2015 before a matchup against the Arizona Diamondbacks. The Giants were issued special home jerseys for the “ring ceremony” game.
Featured in this lot is Andrew Susac’s game used cream colored Majestic Cool Base jersey. These special home jerseys are highlighted by “Giants” sewn across the chest in gold lettering with black and gold tackle twill. The commemorative “World Series Champions 2014” patch is in black and orange with gold tackle twill on the right sleeve. The left sleeve features a memorial patch “LON,” to honor the passing of Lon Simmons along with the standard San Francisco Giants Baseball Club patch with gold twill. Susac’s Number 34 is in Gold with the black and orange tackle twill and the MLB logo on the collar is in black and orange with gold twill. Susac came on as a pinch hitter and went 0/1 during the matchup. The size 48 jersey comes with an affixed MLB hologram (HZ420457).
