The 1986 Fleer Basketball set is quite possibly the most iconic in basketball sports card history. The set is anchored by “His Airness,” Michael Jordan and features other notable HOF rookie cards of Charles Barkley, Hakeem Olajuwon, Patrick Ewing, Dominique Wilkins, Karl Malone, Clyde Drexler and many more. This incredible set being offered is fully graded by PSA in MINT 9 holders. The Michael Jordan RC is gorgeous with great centering and color. The Jordan could be a good candidate for review. The rest of the impeccable set is almost perfectly centered including the #1 Kareem Abdul Jabaar.
This set is the first complete issue of basketball after a five-year lull in the early 1980’s. Most of the checklist is made of rookie cards who would easily fill a wing of the Basketball hall of fame. Michael Jordan is the most sought-after card in the set and routinely sells for four figures on its own. This is one of the most important sports cards sets of all-time and rarely do we see them come to market in completely graded MINT 9 condition.
