Christian Yelich was drafted right out of high school by the Miami Marlins in the 1st round (23rd overall) of the 2010 MLB Draft. The Milwaukee Brewers acquired Yelich from the Marlins after the 2017 season, and in 2018 he became the fourth player in Brewers history to win the league's Most Valuable Player award. The Louisville Slugger Christian Yelich professional model S318 bat exhibits evidence of outstanding use with handle crack that has been secured. The mark visible on the handle identifies the face grain of the bat. This is a mandatory marking, per Major League Baseball, for all maple bats since January 2009. The date of manufacture (12/21/12) the letter "A" and the length and weight (34.0/31.0) are stamped into the knob.
