In vying for a share of the big-league market for weaponry in the 1930’s, several upstart manufacturers turned and delivered bats to name players on a trial basis. The Athens, Georgia-based Hanna Manufacturing Company made a name for itself with several star players using them briefly during the period. Presented here is a Hanna "Batrite" Jimmie Foxx block-letter (last name only) "TA 765" model. The hefty bat is well preserved showing little to no use, but retaining beautiful display quality. The knob is stamped with patent info and date “July 15, 1930.” Measures 35" and weighs 35 oz.
