Romário de Souza Faria, known simply as Romário, is widely considered one of the greatest strikers in soccer history. At the 1994 FIFA World Cup hosted by the U.S., he led his powerhouse football nation to their fourth world title and earned the Golden Ball as the tournament's top player. He was also named FIFA Player of the Year (Ballon d'Or) in '94 for country and club (Barcelona FC). with 55 goals in 70 caps, Romário currently sits fourth on Brazil's all-time scoring list behind Pelé, Ronaldo and Neymar. In terms of total goals scored over all matches, club and country, Romário ranks second all-time (ahead of Pelé') with 772 goals. Presented here is a Romário 2000 Brazil jersey signed by 18 members of the Brazilian National Team.

This team-signed jersey is highlighted by autographs from Ronaldinho, Romário, Cafu, Emerson, Juninho, Rivaldo, Rogerio Ceni, Ricardinho, Vampeta, Roque Junior, Alex and Luisao, among others. All autographs are done in bold black sharpie and some have inscriptions including Romário. The yellow Brazil jersey trimmed in green around the neck and sleeve ends has the Brazil Football Confederation (“CBF”) logo embroidered on the left chest with four green stars representing Brazil's four World Cup titles to that point. Romário's iconic No. "11" is pressed on the front and back in green. On the right sleeve is the ever-important 2006 FIFA World Cup Germany logo patch. The Nike jersey is appropriately tagged inside the collar with size "M" and "Made in China" indicated; the 100% polyester shirt has a washing instructions tag inside the shirttail.

This shirt was sourced from a former Brazil National Team technical coordinator. It was most likely match-issued/ready due to the light evidence of wear and lack of certainty regarding its use provided by our consignor. Includes full LOA from PSA/DNA (AG01614).
