This perfectly preserved Rawlings “Official League” baseball bears the autographs of two diamond immortals — Ed Walsh and Bobby Wallace. Placed on opposing panels, both of these are uncommonly clean and distinct signatures. White Sox HOFer Walsh added 'Hall of Fame, Cooperstown, NY." to his autograph. Having died in 1960, HOFer Rhoderick "Bobby" Wallace, who played for the Cleveland Spiders and the St. Louis Browns/Cardinals from 1894-1918 is a tough signature to find on a baseball. By the dynamics of their HOF inductions and their respective passings, we interpret that the autographs were placed in the mid-1950s. The ultra-high-grade ball has earned an overall NM 7 rating by PSA/DNA.
