RED HOLZMAN'S 1957 ST. LOUIS HAWKS HONORARY STERLING SILVER CIGARETTE BOX (HOLZMAN COLLECTION)

Presented in this lot is Red Holzman’s 1957 St. Louis Hawks honorary sterling silver cigarette box featuring facsimile signatures engraved from several team members including Hall of Famers Slater Martin, Cliff Hagan, Bob Pettit, and Ed Macauley. The cigarette box reads “IN APPRECIATION TO RED HOLZMAN”. This item was presented to Red after he was fired as head coach in January of 1957.  Part of the Red Holzman Collection, this lot is accompanied by an LOA from the family of Red Holzman.
