Warren Giles served as team president of the Cincinnati Reds from 1937 to 1951, and as president of the National League from 1951 to 1969. Many consider him to be one of the moist influential and revolutionary executives in baseball history. Offered is an impressive looking autographed baseball by the Illinois native. Giles’ sweet spot autograph on this near white ONL (Giles) example rates about 8-9/10 in strength. The ball is very clean, and bright. An area of scuffing on the south panel indicates the possibility of a signature removal. Giles passed away a few weeks before his Hall of Fame induction in 1979. LOA from PSA/DNA (AG01583).
