Offered here is a beautiful commemorative Cooperstown branded bat signed by 30 members of the 1998 World Champion New York Yankees. The barrel has a colorful decal emblazoned with the team's iconic Top Hat and Bat logo with mention of the franchise's New York beginnings in 1903 (as the Highlanders). The Yanks were unstoppable in 1998, winning a then-AL record 114 games. It stands as the most wins in franchise history; only the 2001 Mariners have won more games on the Junior Circuit during the regular season. New York swept San Diego in the '98 World Series to bring their final record to an astounding 125-50 (best ever).
Among the better autographs on the bat are Hall of Famers Joe Torre, Mariano Rivera and Tim Raines as well as future Hall of Famers Derek Jeter and Andy Pettitte. Other notables include Jorge Posada, Bernie Williams, Paul O'Neill, Tino Martinez, Orlando Hernandez, David Cone, David Wells, Darryl Strawberry, Joe Girardi, Chuck Knoblauch, Scott Brosius, Chili Davis, Willie Randolph and Mel Stottlemyre.
