The self-proclaimed "straw that stirred the drink," Reggie Jackson was a winner wherever he played. The outspoken, flamboyant, muscular outfielder played in 17 post-season series, earning five World Series rings over a 16-year stretch. He won the home run title playing for 3 different teams and provided some of the most dramatic home runs in baseball history. His three-home run performance in Game 6 of the 1977 World Series stands as a signature moment in the history of the Fall Classic and forever earned him the title “Mr. October.”
Dating from the height of Reggie’s reign in the Bronx, this 1977-78 Hillerich & Bradsby model J93 Reggie Jackson professional model bat measures 35 inches and weighs 34.5 ounces. It is uncracked and exhibits evidence of light use. A few ball marks are visible on the right and back barrel. Also visible on the bat are blue bat rack streaks and there is a light coat of pine tar on the handle. Jackson's number (44) is written on the knob in black marker. Given its ideal era of usage and strong aesthetic quality this is a Jackson gamer worthy of serious attention.  LOA from John Taube of PSA/DNA (GU7.5) (CERT: 1B16950)
