Highlighting this lot of 4 vintage Yankees pennants is a scarce 29-1/2" blue on white felt pennant from the Yankees' 1936 World Championship season. The pennant is in Excellent condition and displays beautifully in a custom cut matte and frame (20” by 44” overall dim.). The Yankees defeated the Giants 4-2 in the Series behind the power hitting of Lou Gehrig (league MVP) and Joe DiMaggio. Three additional pennants average VG condition.
