GEORGE HALAS SINGLE SIGNED BASEBALL – PLAYED 12 GAMES FOR 1919 YANKEES

Although best known as one of the founders of the NFL and revered owner of the Chicago Bears, George Halas actually played right field for the N.Y. Yankees in 1919 before Babe Ruth assumed duties the next year. Presented here is an extremely rare Halas single signed baseball. Sweet spot inscribed, “Best Wishes George Halas" in black ballpoint (7/10). The Rawlings “Official League” ball (made in Haiti) is medium toned with no distracting blemishes.
