This lot features a 2006 New York Yankees team signed baseball. The Yank snagged the AL East division with a record of 97-65 that season and fell to the Tigers in the ALDS. This lovely OML (Selig) ball has 28 near perfect signatures in blue ballpoint (8-9/10 average) including Derek Jeter, Jorge Posada, Bernie Williams, Alex Rodriguez, Johnny Damon, Robinson Cano, Hideki Matsui, Jason Giambi, Gary Sheffield, Kris Benson, Chien-Ming Wang, Melky Cabrera, coaches Larry Bowa and Ron Guidry, and Hall of Fame manager Joe Torre on the sweet spot. In addition, it holds one of the last autographs by pitcher Cory Lidle, who tragically died in a plane crash on October 11th. Ball has one spot on toning, otherwise it's Mint. Includes full LOA from PSA/DNA (AF04998) and has Steiner hologram sticker.
