On April 11, 2002, The Los Angeles Lakers paid homage to their first dynasty as the Minneapolis Lakers who won five championships between 1949-1954. As part of the nightlong celebration at Staples Center, centered around a matchup against the Minnesota Timberwolves, the Lakers donned specially made "retro" road uniforms similar to those of the Minneapolis team that won the finals in 1951-52.  A host of former Minneapolis Lakers were on hand that night, including, George Mikan, Vern Mikkelson, Clyde Lovellette and coach John Kundla.  The Lakers defeated the Wolves 96-83.

At the conclusion of the game, broadcast nationally on TNT, all of the "retro" uniforms worn by the Lakers along with each players game worn warm up suit were gathered by Lakers personnel for safe keeping.

SCP is proud to offer this game worn warm-up from this exclusive game.  Derek Fisher's white custom-made Nike alternate warm-up suit (top and bottom) is trimmed in purple and gold. Embroidered on the chest of the top left is the Lakers logo.  The team name "Lakers" is emblazoned across the back. Both top and bottom have D Fish's autograph. The top autograph is in black marker on the left chest area just below the embroidered Lakers logo. The bottoms are autographed in black marker on the left leg just below the embroidered NBA and Nike logos.  Comes with Lakers LOA
