In 2000, the St. Louis Rams won the first Super Bowl in franchise history thanks to a play now known as “The Tackle”. With time running out, the Tennessee Titans drove to the six yard line of the Rams with the score Rams 23, Titans 16 and six seconds left on the clock. A slant pass to wide receiver Kevin Dyson followed, with Dyson reaching the one yard line before Rams linebacker Mike Jones heroically tackled Dyson just shy of the goal line. Time expired, and the Rams won the Super Bowl. This game, held at the Georgia Dome, saw regular season MVP Kurt Warner claim the Super Bowl MVP as well.
