During the 1968 season the Cardinals would continue their domination of the National League clubs but would fall short against the destiny-driven Detroit Tigers in the World Series. This was the season Bob Gibson throttled NL bats to the tune of a 22-9 record and an incredible 1.12 ERA. In addition to Gibson, this Cardinals team included its share of HOFers and stars. This bright white unused ONL (Giles) ball bears 24 signatures (6-7/10). Includes: Maris, Cepeda, Schoendienst, Sisler, Maxvill, Carlton, Brock, Schofield, Flood, McCarver, Briles, Tolan, Spiezio etc. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
