This 2012 London Summer Olympic replica torch is scaled down to half the size of the original torch from these Games. Essentially a premium souvenir, it has been manufactured with exquisite care and workmanship to achieve the same quality as the original. The triangular-shaped base and shaft are made of gold-plated high-tech alloy. Near the top is the 2012 London Games logo made of gold-plated [999 pure] silver. The miniature torch measures 16 1/2 inches (42 cm) in length, including the base it rests on. 2012 marked the first time in Olympic history that a replica torch made with precious metal was available to the public. 50,000 sets were produced. This enclosed COA is numbered 08727. The torch comes in a lovely, golden presentation box lined with an elegant red velvet interior. There's even a white glove included for proper handling. Even the brown handle bag is included. Includes a Letter of Authenticity from renowned Olympic memorabilia expert, Ingrid O'Neil.
