Offered here is a vintage multi-signed baseball signed by a combined 18 members of the 1933 World Series Champion New York Giants and N.L. pennant runner-up Pittsburgh Pirates. The 11 Giants include Hall of Famers Mel Ott (8/10), Carl Hubbell (7/10), Travis Jackson (7/10) and player-manager Bill Terry (7.5/10) as well as Lefty O'Doul, Hughie Critz, Joe Malay, Gus Mancuso, Jo-Jo Moore, Glenn Spencer and Phil Weintraub. Among the seven Pirates are Hall of Famers Pie Traynor (6/10) and Freddie Lindstrom (5/10) as well as Adam Comorosky, Earl Grace, Larry French, Hal Smith and Tommy Thevenow. Signatures come in dark blue fountain ink and average 7/10 overall. The mildly toned ball is an "Official League Guaranteed 36 Innings" baseball with a "Wagner-Traynor -Pittsburgh" label stamped on the north panel. According to an included letter of provenance from the original owner, the ball was signed at a Pirates-Giants game at Forbes Field in the 1930's. Comes with a full LOA from PSA/DNA (no clubhouse signatures).
