Presented here is a near set of the 1947 W571 "Homogenized" Bond Bread Baseball series with 33 of the possible 44 different player issues represented included the coveted Jackie Robinson (EX-MT). There are four duplicates for a total of 37 baseball cards. In addition, two of the possible four boxing 1947 Bond Bread Homogenized boxing issues are included: Joe Louis and Primo Carnera. This classic and underappreciated set of black-and-white cards (2.5 x 3.5 inches) was initially issued with rounded corners followed by a release of square cornered cards. All backs are blank. Of the 39 total cards in this lot, 15 have round corners and 24 have square corners.
