Presented here is a Peyton Manning autographed game jersey from Oct.
11, 2009. That day, the future Hall of Famer threw for 309 yards and 3
TD's in the Indianapolis Colts' 31-9 blowout of the Tennessee Titans on
the road. As part of the NFL's support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month
in October, team captains wore a pink decorative "C" patch that Sunday.
This particular jersey, documented by the NFL and PSA/DNA as part of
their dual authentication program as being worn that game, was most
likely donned by Peyton during warm-ups. The meticulous QB is known to
sometimes wear three different jerseys on gameday, often changing right
before kickoff and again during the halftime break.
The white Reebok jersey shows light wear. Inside the rear collar is a
strip tag with “09-50” for the year and size, with the NFL/PSA sticker
adjacent. The Reebok NFL Equipment label appears on the left tail, with
4” L.B. and size 50 flag tags. Manning's iconic No. “18” appears on the
front, back and both shoulders in blue tackle twill. "MANNING" appears
across the back also in blue across a white nameplate. The sleeves have
the Colts-themed blue and white knitted shoulder stripes along with the
Reebok logo patch. At the V-neck is the NFL Equipment shield patch, with
the pink Captain's “C” embroidered patch on the right upper chest
(three gold stars and one white star). Manning has signed to the right
of his NOB in 8/10 black marker. Whether pre-gamer or gamer, this is a
terrific jersey to own from the legendary signal-caller.
Includes COA from the NFL and PSA/DNA verifying both the autograph and date of wear (N58302).
