Brett Favre was having himself another stellar season in 2003 for the Green Bay Packers when tragedy struck. His father, with whom he'd always been extremely close, suffered a fatal heart attack on Sunday, December 21 of that year. The following night, with the national Monday Night Football audience glued to their TV's, Favre went out and threw for 400 yards (399, to be exact) and 4 TD passes in a gutsy win over the Raiders in Oakland. The next week, he again lead his team to a big 31-3 win over Denver that clinched the NFC North division for the Packers. Presented here is Favre's game worn home jersey from that Dec. 28, 2003, victory at Lambeau Field, confirmed by a letter from the 'Ole Gunslinger himself.

All the proper characteristics are present on this green Reebok mesh and knit shirt, including the correct "03-52" tag in the neckline, Favre's typical custom-hemmed shirttail, and the "NFL Equipment" shield below the collar. Favre's NOB over a green nameplate and iconic No. "4" on the front, back and shoulders all come in white tackle twill. Written in black marker just underneath the rear right tail is "DEN". Brett threw for one touchdown in a game controlled by Green Bay's running attack and defense. With the Pack up big entering the fourth, Brett was rested the final quarter in preparation for for the playoffs. Thus, wear is light but evident. On the back numbers Favre has signed his name in 8/10 black marker with the inscription "Game Used 12/28/03 Pack 31 Broncos 3." Outstanding gamer from one of football's all-time ranks.

Includes signed LOA from Favre and photo of him signing the jersey. Includes COA from PSA/DNA (AE81130) for the autograph.
