Robert Parish was quite the formidable center for the Boston Celtics during the team’s remarkable run to three NBA titles in the 1980’s. This lot features The Chief's 1993-94 Boston Celtics game worn home jersey, his last campaign with the Celtics in which the then 40-year-old averaged 11.7 points and 7.3 boards per outing. The white mesh jersey reads “CELTICS” across the front in green tackle twill with his iconic uniform number “00” appearing just below it in similar fashion. On the front left tail is a Champion size 48 manufacturer’s tag with washing instructions and “10” is written in blue marker. The adjacent Champion tag that reads “Designed (1993-1994) & Tailored Exclusively for Boston Celtics” and BODY LENGTH +3.” On the front left chest is the NBA’s official, red, white and blue embroidered logo. His last name – “PARISH” – appears on the back in green tackle twill sewn directly onto the shirt. The jersey is properly tagged throughout and shows light to moderate wear.
