Tom Chambers was a four-time NBA All-Star power forward who played the majority of his 16-year career between two teams: the Seattle SuperSonics and the Phoenix Suns. For his career, he averaged 18.1 points and six boards per game. This lot features Chambers’ 1988-89 Phoenix Suns game worn road warm-up suit from his best statistical season when he tallied a career-high 25.7 points and 8.4 rebounds per game, leading the Suns to the Western Conference Finals.

The dark blue, zip-up jacket with blue-and-white trim on the short sleeves boasts the Suns sunburst logo on the left chest and the official NBA embroidered logo on the right. Chamber’s last name appears in arched fashion in white tackle twill on the reverse. The rear interior collar includes the proper “Sand-Knit [size] 46” manufacturer’s label as well as a tag that reads “Designed & Tailored Exclusively For The PHOENIX SUNS.” Adjacent are two strip tags that read “88” and “3”LB” and a white strip tag with “24” written on it in black marker. The matching blue pants include similar Sand-Knit [size] 38” and “Designed & Tailored Exclusively For The PHOENIX SUNS” manufacturer tags, along with strip tags that read “88,” “40” IN” and “1” HR.” One additional tag reads “89-24” in black, hand-written marker. Similar white-and-blue trim runs up the outer edges of both pant legs.
