Bobby Jones played 12 years of professional basketball, the first two of which were played for the ABA’s Denver Nuggets before the team became a member of the NBA for the 1976-77 season. This lot features Jones’ Nuggets game worn road warm-up jacket from that momentous final season of the ABA, one in which Jones averaged 14.9 points and 9.5 boards per game. An accurate shooter, Jones led the ABA twice and NBA twice in Field Goal Percentage.

The offered dark blue jacket is trimmed with red and white. Boasting a gold number "24" sewn on the left front breast area. The reverse shows "Denver" in gold lettering at the top with the "Nuggets" logo sewn directly below. The interior rear collar reveals the proper “Wilson” [size] “46” manufacturer’s tag. The warm-up jacket displays heavy wear with some soiling.

Includes LOA from Bobby Jones.
