Curtis Rowe was a standout power forward for the UCLA Bruins before embarking on a 10-year NBA career. During his UCLA playing days, he helped the Bruins to three NCAA titles (1969 to ’71). Selected 11th overall by the Detroit Pistons in the 1971 NBA Draft, Rowe played five seasons in the Motor City before closing out his professional career as a member of the Boston Celtics.

This lot features Rowe’s game worn Detroit Pistons home jersey from his last two seasons with the Pistons (1974-75 and 1975-76), a time when he averaged scoring 14 points per game. The offered white knit pullover Pistons jersey reveals moderate wear with no signs of repair or alteration. It reads “PISTONS” arched across the front in blue-on-red tackle twill outlined in red, with his uniform number "18" sewn to the front and back in similar fashion as is his last name "ROWE" which is sewn above the number on the back. Red-white-and-blue striped elastic surrounds the neck and arm openings. A Wilson manufacturer’s tag (size 44) is situated on the left front tail and is accompanied by a flop tag but the contents of which has faded over time.

Includes LOA from MEARS graded A10.
