Art Williams was a 6-foot-1 point guard who played seven seasons (1967–1974) in the NBA as a member of both the San Diego Rockets and the Boston Celtics. He became the second player in NBA history to record a triple-double within his first four NBA games, joining Basketball Hall of Famer Oscar Robertson.

Presented here is Williams’ San Diego Rockets game worn warm-up jacket from the early 1970’s. The green, short-sleeved warm-up jacket reads “SAN DIEGO” across the front in white on yellow tackle twill. The neck opening and waistline areas are both trimmed with yellow and white ribbings. Both sleeves boast a large yellow stripe accompanied by two thinner white stripes. The front of the jacket is closed with six white snap buttons that remain fully functional. The back reads his last name – “WILLIAMS” – in matching white on yellow lettering. The inside rear collar is sporting the proper (albeit somewhat frayed) “BILL SMITH SPORTING GOODS” manufacturer’s tag with an accompanying size “42” tag showing. Despite its age, the sweater/jacket remains in uncanny shape.
