11 combined members of the circa 1933-34 Cleveland Indians and Detroit Tigers, highlighted by Indians then-manager Walter Johnson. Tigers include Schoolboy Rowe, Tom Bridges, Bill Rogell, Eldin Auker, Red Phillips and Luke Hamlin. Indians include Clint Brown and Hal Trosky. Two names, including the sweet spot ("Ed ___?"), are unidentifiable. The Spalding "Babe Ruth Home Run Special" baseball with red and blue stitching remains in great shape, with light but even toning. The black penned signatures range 4-6/10 in strength and eye appeal. "Big Train" has signed the north panel in 5/10 boldness.

The '34 Tigers, managed by Mickey Cochrane, won the A.L. pennant, lost to the Cardinals in the Fall Classic in a tight 7-game Series. The best Walter Johnson could do as Cleveland's skipper from 1933-35 was a third place finish.

Full LOA from PSA/DNA with an overall grade of 5 (autos. 5 / ball 5).
