This lot features a 2007 Robinson Cano New York Yankees game-worn road jersey with a No. 10 patch and black armband on the left sleeve to honor the passing of both Hall of Fame shortstop Phil Rizzuto (the No. 10 patch) and right-handed pitcher Cory Lidle (the black armband), who was tragically killed at age 34 in a private plane crash on October 11, 2006. Robby Cano ("Don't You Know") batted .306 with 19 homers and 97 RBI that season and, even after joining the Mariners in 2014, remains one of the greatest second baseman to ever wear pinstripes.

The gray jersey (size 48) carries the proper Majestic Authentic manufacturer’s tagging on the front left tail.  The front of the jersey reads “NEW YORK” in navy blue on white tackle twill with Cano’s uniform number “24” appears on the back in like fashion. Cano signed the front left chest of the jersey in blue marker, right under the word “YORK.” The jersey displays moderate wear and appears problem-free with all six original gray buttons intact on the front.

Part of the Yankees-Steiner Collectibles Program, it comes with an LOA from Steiner Sports. Autograph pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
