The great Tony Gonzalez currently holds the NFL record for total receiving
yards (15,127) by a tight end. And with 1,325 career receptions, only Jerry
Rice has caught more passes in NFL history. The former 1st round pick out of
Cal-Berkley, who also shined on the basketball court in college as well for the
Golden Bears, earned 14 Pro Bowls and was known for his durability, missing
only two games in his 17-year career. He will surely be enshrined into the Hall
of Fame on the first ballot when he becomes eligible in 2019.
Featured here is a Gonzalez gamer worn on October 3, 2010. Playing at home
against 49ers, Gonzalez caught 7 passes for 41 yards in helping his Atlanta
Falcons squeeze by San Francisco, 16-14. We have photo-matched this jersey to

after the win. The experts at Resolution Photomatching have done their own
professional side-by-side photo-match to a different shot during the game. Oh,
and it is further verified with a certificate from the NFL and PSA/DNA.
The black jersey has Gonzalez’s number “88” on the front back and shoulders
in white and red tackle twill. The Falcons logo is on each sleeve in red, white
and black tackle twill, and a white strip tag inside the collar reads
“10-46-5”. An NFL-PSA/DNA sticker number N676669” is affixed below. “GONZALEZ”
in white and red tackle twill on a black name plate arch across the back
shoulders. The jersey shows heavy game use with many scuff marks, contact
abrasions and paint transfers, making it an easy one to match.
