This lot offers a rare black and white photograph from 1972 signed by Richard Nixon and Sammy Davis Jr. With the message “To Solomon Burke, With deep gratitude for your outstanding contribution to the success of the Young Voters for the Presidents Nomination Rally - Miami Beach, FL August 22, 1972.” and signed in black sharpie (9/10) by Richard Nixon in the bottom margin. Also signed in blue sharpie by Sammy Davis Jr (9/10) directly on the photo. The black and white photograph depicts the famous gathering during the 1972 Presidential Nomination Rally that included such stars as a young Michael Jackson, Goldie Hawn, Liza Minnelli, Sammy Davis Jr and others.
