Born Edson Arantes do Nascimento, the Brazilian 'football' legend earned the nickname Pelé as a youngster after repeatedly mispronouncing the name of his favorite player, Bilé. So it stuck. He remains the only soccer player to ever win three World Cups (1958, 1962 and 1970) and is Brazil's all-time leading scorer. It's rare to find a Pele autographed item in which he also signs his first name, Edson. That's exactly what you have here, as he used a black sharpie to sign "Edson Pelé" perfectly on the back below his famous #10. The front of the shirt has the Brazilian Football Confederation 'CBD' shield logo over the chest. COA from PSA/DNA (7A69501).
