One year after having captured their first Stanley Cup championship, the Pittsburgh Penguins doubled their fortune and knocked off the Minnesota North Stars in the finals to repeat as champions in 1992. Mario Lemieux, the captain, led the club with 87 assists and 131 points.
Phil Langan was Vice President of Public Relations and Community Relations for the Pittsburgh Penguins from 1991-96. Issued to Langan in recognition of the team’s 1992 Stanley Cup Championship is this 10 karat gold ring. "Stanley Cup Champions 91 92" is embossed around a CZ on front. One shank features an enameled Penguins team emblem along with "LANGAN” above and “NHL" below. The opposite side has "Pittsburgh Back to Back Penguins” set against two Stanley Cups."Balfour 10k" is stamped on the inside. Ring shows minimal wear, NM condition.
