Billed as "The Greatest Event in All Sports History", this 1971 Heavyweight championship bout at Madison Square Garden later became known as "The Fight of the Century" or simply "The Fight". Frazier defeated Ali by decision after fifteen rounds to retain the heavyweight title. This closed circuit fight poster features red and black lettering on a yellow and white background, with photos of both fighters. The banner across the photos of the fighters have the names mixed up but have the names in small print correct under the fighters. The banner also bills Muhammad Ali as "A.K.A Cassius Clay". This poster is framed and matted (16”X24”) with the visible area of Ali and Frazier that has been beautifully signed in blue ink by both contenders. The signatures are flawless and rate a 9/10 for strength and eye appeal.
