The Ed Block Courage Award Foundation is dedicated to supporting the well-being of abused, neglected and at-risk children. Ed Block was a long time trainer for the Baltimore Colts and worked with the underprivileged in Baltimore for many decades. Tom Matte spent his 12 year pro career with the Baltimore Colts, where he played in Super Bowl III, but lost to the New York Jets. This unique 2003 Ed Block Courage Award 25th Anniversary Medal and Plaque was awarded to Tom Matte and has been signed and inscribed on bottom in silver sharpie (9/10) with “Ed Block Award - Tom Matte - Baltimore Colts - #41”. The medal and trophy (measuring 6” high) are in MINT condition.
