For Danny Woodhead, Dec. 20, 2015 will always be remembered as the game of his life. As the San Chargers versatile running back, Woodhead exploded on this day versus the Miami Dolphins for four touchdowns, three through the air and one on the ground. The 5' 9" running back turned in a flawless performance for the Bolts who bested the visiting 'Fins, 30-14. With the exception of Josh Lambo's 27-yard field goal and three extra points, Woodhead accounted for the all of San Diego's points!
This lot features Woodhead's game-worn San Diego Chargers home jersey from that terrific day. The nylon/polyester Nike navy blue jersey (size 38) shows excellent game use with plenty of dirt and grass stains on the front and back of the jersey. The contact marks/paint transfers on the front numbers can be easily photo-matched (Getty 502134270 and 502134258). Proper manufacturer's tagging appears on the inside rear collar with a pair of flag tags reading: "2015" and "-2 LENGTH." The tag also includes "ON FIELD" call out with "2191100GG703" showing. The front of the V-neck jersey shows "CHARGERS" embroidered across the front, centered perfectly above Woodhead's uniform number "39," which appears in 10" white tackle twill numerals outlined in Charger blue and
gold. Both shoulders also include Woodhead's tackle twill number "39" in like fashion positioned right above the Chargers' tackle twill gold lightning bolt and the Nike white swoosh. The reverse of the jersey, which
shows plenty of grass stains from multiple on-field collisions that day, shows Woodhead's number "39" in similar tackle twill fashion as the front, although the numerals are 12" tall. A sewn-on navy blue nameplate features
"WOODHEAD" in yellow tackle twill lettering outlined in Charger blue sewn directly onto the nameplate. Awesome photo-matched Chargers gamer!
