Two of the hardest-hitting defensive players in San Diego Chargers history were no doubt linebacker Junior Seau and cornerback Rodney Harrison. They overlapped on the Bolts for a total of nine seasons (1994 to 2002) and were both on the roster when the Chargers went to Super Bowl XXIX but dropped a 49-26 decision to the San Francisco 49ers.

This lot features Harrison's signed 2000 San Diego Chargers game worn home jersey that he inscribed to Junior Seau following the 2000 season, a campaign in which the team went 8-8 and missed the playoffs. The white mesh, custom-hemmed Adidas jersey includes sewn-on black chain-stitching identifiers on the inside rear collar reading "00 - 50," indicating the season and size of the jersey. The number "37" jersey shows moderate game wear. His heat-pressed number “37” appears in dark blue outlined in yellow on the front, back and on both sleeves. The Chargers 40th Anniversary (1961 - 2000) embroidered patch graces the front left shoulder area. The NFL shield is sewn into the bottom of the V-neck collar and a dark blue embroidered Adidas patch is also sewn onto both sleeves. Both sleeves are also sporting the Chargers iconic lightning bolt logo which appears in white on blue outlined in yellow. His white nameplate – “HARRISON” - appears with dark blue heat-pressed letters and is sewn on across the back of the shoulders. Harrison has signed and inscribed the jersey in black fine-point marker across the right front shoulder: "To: Jr. Rodney Harrison #37 Best "LB" Ever!! Thanks For Every Thing!" The item was sourced from Seau's Restaurant in San Diego.
