A full year before Blanda’s most celebrated season, he was honored by being named as the starting placekicker for the All Time Team of the American Football League. Blanca’s presence on this team of all-time greats is significant in that he still had five seasons of play left in him! The wooden plaque measures 10” x 12” and features an engraved panel with all the members of the All Time Team listed and a separate plaque with Blanda’s name.
