Featured here is a pair of Kevin Love’s playoff game-worn and signed sneakers from the Cleveland
Cavaliers’ monumental 2015-16 Championship season. Love averaged 14.7 points and 8.8 rebounds during the Cavs' 2016 playoff
run and shot an impressive 41 percent from deep. In the critical Game 7 of the NBA Finals against the Warriors, he scored nine
points and grabbed 14 boards as the Cavs outscored the
Warriors by 19 in the 30 minutes he was on the floor. He even
stymied Stephen Curry on a crucial possession in the final minutes.
Photo research indicates that the 6’ 10” power
forward did not begin wearing this particular colorway of Nike Hyperdunks until the first round of the playoffs versus the Pistons and he continued wearing them in the next round as well. Scuff marks and paint transfers seem to provide visual evidence that Love sported this pair in the Eastern Conference Semifinals against the Hawks.

Love has two of his best playoff performances, scoring 21 points with 15 rebounds in Game 3, and going for 27 (8 threes) and 12 in Game 4. The Cavs won both games and swept the series. The Cavs-themed, wine and navy Nike 'Hyperdunk 2015' high-tops come in Love's size 18 The insoles have been removed, perhaps so Love could use his own orthotics. Interior Nike tagging reads "PROMO SAMPLE 20160325" and "SEASON SP16". As mentioned, they show incredible game use with white, yellow and red paint transfers that would seem to match the Hawks colors. Love has signed both shoes over the toes in bold silver marker. Great game-used mementos from Cleveland's epic "Believeland" season, from their playoff run no less!
