Featured here is Kevin Love’s game-worn jersey from the Cleveland Cavaliers’ monumental 2015-16 NBA Championship season. The 6’10” power forward sported this nifty throwback for Cleveland's April 11th home game as the Cavs defeated the Atlanta Hawks 109-94 at Quicken Loans Arena. It was an important victory as Cleveland clinched the best record in the Eastern Conference and home-field advantage until the NBA Finals. Love tallied a double-double in the game, with 10 points and a game-high 14 rebounds. He averaged 16 points and 10 rebounds during the regular season. The Cavs marched through the playoffs relatively easily until their epic rematch with Golden State in the 2016 Finals. We all know how that ended. Pandemonium in C-Town. Euphoria throughout the state of Ohio. An end to the 52-year championship drought for Cleveland.

The lovely gold mesh throwback has “CAVALIERS” on the front and Love’s No. “0” front and back, all in Cavs wine tackle twill outlined in white. “LOVE” is sewn directly onto the upper back in wine tackle twill, with the embroidered NBA logo patch sewn above. The collar, armpits and yokes have a wine, gold and white checkered pattern, paying tribute to the 1974-80 era of the Cavs' uniforms. Shirt has appropriate “Adidas climacool Size 3XL” tagging on the front left tail with a LENGTH +4" flag tag. The game date “4/11” is hand-written in black marker (likely by the equipment manager) on the Player ID panel of the manufacturer’s tag. Adjacent is the unique NBA Authentication with a “CCA 03634” code. A third NBA tag labeled “HWC NIGHTS” [Hardwood Classic] is sewn just above to denote the Cavs throwback uniform worn that night. Inside the left inseam is the washing instructions and "08/15" manufacturing date tag.

The jersey displays appropriate game wear for a laundered shirt in a rare style not regularly part of the rotation; the Cavs wore these throwbacks for six dates in 2015-16. Love has signed his number on the reverse in black marker. The jersey was obtained through an impeccable NBA source (must remain anonymous) who attests to Kevin signing it in person. It can be photo-matched to several Getty images. A truly special piece to own from K-Love and the Cavs’ magical “Believeland” title run.

Includes LOA from Resolution Photomatching with a conclusive high-resolution side-by-side photo-match from the 4/11/16 game. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA (autograph).
